Updated Clean Girl Makeup for the Fall and Winter

If there’s one aesthetic that has had me in a chokehold this year, it’s the clean girl look. In terms of fashion, it perfectly aligns with my personal style as I naturally lean towards minimal, timeless pieces that leave a lasting impression. When it comes to makeup, I always prefer a simple and understated approach, particularly for my everyday look. However, I can’t deny the allure of embracing darker, smoky hues when the fall and winter seasons roll in. With that in mind, I’ve chosen to give my favorite clean girl makeup a fresh twist for the upcoming colder months. Whether I’m bundled up in cozy sweaters or enjoying fall in LA, this revamped clean girl makeup will keep me feeling confident and stylish through the colder months ahead. Flawless Base

If there was only one singular product that I could recommend, it would have to be the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Primer. By far, this has been my favorite base product and one of my key secrets to achieving glowy skin year round. To begin this update clean girl makeup, start by applying a generous amount of this primer. From there, I follow up with the Supergoop Glow Screen for sun protection and to even out my skin tone.

Eyes On Me

If you are looking for ways to streamline your everyday makeup routine, look no further than the Freck Beauty Shadow Slide Sticks. I start with Partywave and apply this all over my lid and into the inner corners of my eyes. Then, I take Wetlands and add this to my crease for dimension. To keep my brows as natural as possible, I use a few swipes of Anastasia Brow Freeze to keep each hair in place all day long.

Natural Coverage

After my eyes are complete, I finish my face makeup. The goal here is to achieve natural-looking coverage. I prefer to apply a few touches of concealer around my eyes to brighten this area up. You can opt to bake this with a bit of setting powder for longer-lasting staying power. From there, I will apply my go-to foundation, mainly on the forehead and lower half of my face.

Finishing Touches

Now, it’s time for a few finishing touches to pull everything together! I love the YSL Crushliner and will use the black shade to create a slight wing and to tightline the bottom waterline. As it is fall, a spice themed lip will make your clean girl makeup seasonally appropriate. Start with a pink-brown lip liner to accentuate your natural lip shape. Finally, top off with the Gisou Honey Infused Lip Oil (the new shimmery formula is perfect for this makeup look)!
