While it is holiday party season and I have plenty of social engagements scheduled, I cannot help but stare longingly at my sweaters. As much as I adore dressing up, I cannot deny that there is something about the chill in the air makes me want to stay home on occasion. Oversized Silhouettes
However, you cannot get much cozier than an oversized pull-over sweater. Come wintertime, this is the only thing I really want to wear. In particular, large knits just make for a much comfier outfit while still having the ability to be dressed up. For instance, on a last Sunday, you could catch me wearing this oversized sweater with a pair of legging. Only to find me wearing the same one out to dinner, styled with a pair of leather pants and heels.

Over the years, sweater vests have totally grown on me! They are great for layering, especially in the wintertime. They also tend to have a certain charm that other sweater iterations don’t have. Boleros
As a fun bonus, I wanted to include boleros (also known as a shrug) into this guide of the best sweaters to invest in. These are detachable sleeves that you can add to almost any outfit you can think of. In particular, I have developed a love for knit bolero sleeves. Not only are they incredibly chic, but they can easily winterize any of your favorite sleeveless tops.
