My Updated Everyday, Fall Makeup Routine

Now that we’re fully embracing fall, there’s just something about the season that calls for a moodier makeup routine. Summer may have been all about fresh, dewy looks, but autumn is all about exploring richer tones.  It’s the perfect opportunity to explore deeper, more defined features. This year, I’m all about those warm neutrals, layering bronzy and cinnamon shades to create a cozy, everyday look that just screams fall. Think soft, smoky eyes with earthy browns, a hint of terracotta blush for that windswept glow, and maybe even a swipe of spicy cinnamon lipstick. It’s the perfect way to add a little seasonal spice to your everyday routine without going overboard. Ahead, I’ll be sharing the products and steps I have been using for my updated fall makeup look.

Skin Prep

1) For the most hydrated base, the Caudalie Face Mist and Farmacy Honey Milk Essence is the ultimate duo.

2) Hands down, my favorite primer is the Bobbi Brown Face Base. It provides such a smooth, seamless canvas.

3) The Anastasia Beverly Hills Freeze will ensure your brows will stay put all day.

Base Makeup

4) Next, I use the e.l.f. Halo Glow for a sculpted, lifted face.

5) Brighten the under eyes, along with any blemishes, with a concealer.

6) Apply a light coat of foundation. Lately, the It Cosmetics CC Cream has been my Holy Grail.

7) Set the bronzer with the Armani Bronzing Powder and add a touch of glow with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette.

Eyes & Lips

8) Apply a bronzy eyeshadow to the lids to warm up your complexion.

9) Use Rhode’s viral Toasted Teddy blush on the cheeks and the lips for a monochromatic moment.

10) Top your pout with gloss. The Armani Prisma Glass gives the most amazing shine.
