My Favorite Places to Dine Out in LA

As someone who has been a native LA for quite some time now and who also happens to be a self-proclaimed dining out connoisseur, I can assure you I have tried my fair share of Los Angeles restaurants. After all, nothing brings me more joy than a cute dinner or happy hour meet up with the girlies. If you are also a LA native or plan on visiting the city of angels anytime soon, be sure to save this post for future reference. Not only are these spots insanely delicious, but they are also incredibly aesthetic for all of your content creation needs. Ahead, I am sharing my top 4 favorite places to dine out in LA, along with what I love about each place and some of my favorite dishes.

Culina at The Four Seasons

If I have any out-of-towners coming to visit, one of my go-to places to bring them is Culina at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills because I have yet to have a bad experience. During the summer, you can bask in the sun and eat out on their green-filled patio. At night, dine indoors at one of their candlelit tables. When it’s the holiday season, you can sit in the lounge, which is decorated in an Après-ski inspired fashion complete with frosted Christmas trees and a specialty menu. Plus, this is a great place to take pet-lovers because they offer an assortment of dog-friendly meals!

Favorite dish: Branzino

Wally’s

On nights when you want to meet your friends for top tier drinks and a few bites to eat, look no further than Wally’s in Beverly Hills. This is such a fun place to visit because not only can you grab a table and sit at the bar, but the space is also simultaneously a wine and cheese shop. While they are open for brunch and lunch, my absolute favorite time to visit is after hours.

Favorite dish: Any of the pizzas paired with a wine

THE Blvd

Located within the Beverly Wilshire hotel, THE Blvd is one of the best brunch spots in all of LA. It overlooks Rodeo Drive, making it a great spot to fuel up before embarking on some retail therapy. Plus, if you find that this LA dining spot looks familiar, you’re not mistaken. This was one of the main filming locations for Pretty Woman! You can even order the ‘Feeling Pretty’ cocktail which is inspired by the movie.

Favorite dish: Blvd Burger

@kayebassey One of my fave sushi places 🫶🏽 #restaurantreview #restaurantsinlosangeles #resy #losangelesrestaurants #larestaurants #dinela #thingstodoinla #plantbased ♬ Untitled – Slowed &Reverb – JOIE GREY

Planta

Located in Marina Del Rey, Planta is one of the newer LA dining spots that I have discovered. Not only is the interior insanely aesthetic, but it’s a unique dining experience that you cannot find anywhere else. Everything is plant-based, including the sushi! Even if you are not vegetarian or vegan, Planta is a must-try. You might just be surprised at how little you’ll crave meat.

Favorite dishes: Ahi Watermelon Nigiri & Mafaldine Pasta Verde
