Trust me – I know that this year is going by in a blink of an eye, so you might even be in denial that Thanksgiving is just a stone throw away. I can totally relate 100%. The first that comes to my mind are sweater dresses. They are amazing to wrap up when it is chilly and something you could happily wear all day long. This modest turtleneck option is so cute! I love the textured balloon sleeves detailing. Also, I spotted one of my favorite cutout tops adapted as a chic sweater dress from Paige. The asymmetrical shoulder is a fun way to bring some contemporary trend into your modest Thanksgiving look!

Another way to keep your look conservative but still incredibly stylish is to search for dresses with a midi-length. The longer hemline helps to keep your outfit more polished. If you prefer a more minimal approach to style, this pleated midi dress is so timeless and effortlessly plays into the elevated knitwear trend. When shopping for Thanksgiving dresses, I also recommend paying close attention to color! When in doubt, I will always suggest a slip dress for just about any occasion. You guys know that I tend to prioritize styles that are sophisticated and timeless – which is everything that defines a slip dress.
