Booking my appointment was virtually effortless and they had plenty of availability to choose from. On the day of my appointment, I arrived at the store and the expert makeup artist immediately got to work! Although you are within the main area of the store, you still have a sense of privacy as they have a special spot designated for their services alone. Not only did the end result turn out to be everything I imagined (and more), I also learned some new tricks when it comes to applying makeup.
Here’s a summary of the makeup tips I took away from my Ulta beauty salon appointment:
- Use a brush instead of a bristle to apply brow gel for a more precise result
- Once you’re done with the brows, clean up underneath with a touch of concealer
- When going for an eyeshadow-heavy look, always use a primer to ensure longevity
- Apply eyeshadow before foundation, so it’s easier to clean up any potential fall out
- For more of a statement, you can line the bottom lashline – but try using a powder for a softer effect (use a foam wedge to catch any potential fall out)
