1) Toner

Once your face is clean, the first product you are going to want to reach for is toner. This helps to balance your skin’s pH levels after cleansing, which effectively preps your skin for the rest of your products. If you don’t use a toner already, I highly recommend you add this into your routine! Although on the pricy side, I swear by the P50 toner and am convinced I’ll be using it for years.

2) Facial Mist

Once your toner is patted into your skin, I like to go in with a spritz of facial mist. It helps to lock in moisture, while also adding another layer of hydration to keep your skin plump and moisturized. If you struggle with dry, patchy skin, a facial mist is a great way to get an extra boost of moisture.

Pro tip: Keep at mini version on you for an extra boost of hydrating throughout the day! It’s also great for refreshing your makeup.

3) Vitamin C Serum

Do you use vitamin C in your everyday routine? Recently, I added this RoC serum into my line up of products and I have noticed a difference! A few blemishes on my face had faded as this essential vitamin has amazing brightening properties! After consistent use, you should notice diminishing of hyperpigmentation and aging spots.

4) Eye Serum / Eye Cream

Simply slathering your regular moisturizer under your eyes just doesn’t cut it. Trust me, I’ve learned the hard way that a targeted eye serum or eye cream is a game-changer. The skin around your eyes is super delicate, so using something specifically formulated for that area is way more effective in tackling dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines. Lately, THIS has been my absolute go-to.

5) Hyalronic Acid

If you’re still on the hunt for a serious hydration boost, let me introduce you to your new best friend: hyaluronic acid. This superstar ingredient is a humectant, meaning it pulls moisture into your skin like a magnet. It’s super lightweight and sinks right in, making it the perfect step 5. Trust me, your skin will drink it up!

6) Anti-Aging Serum

If anti-aging is at the top of your skincare goals, I’ve got a game-changing product for you. Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair serum has been a total lifesaver for tackling wrinkles (and yes, you can totally use it in the morning too). As we all know, we’re not getting any younger, so adding a powerhouse product like this to your routine is key to keeping that youthful glow.

7) Moisturizer

Finally, we’ve made it to the moisturizer stage! If your skincare routine has been pretty basic up until now, you might be thinking, “Wow, this is a lot.” But trust me, don’t knock it ’til you try it. Now’s the time to seal in all that goodness with a top-notch moisturizer.

8) SPF

If you’re following these steps for your morning routine, it’s time to slather on that SPF. I’m sure you’ve heard it a million times by now, but seriously, sunscreen is non-negotiable. If you’re on the hunt for a lightweight SPF that absorbs like a dream and layers perfectly under makeup, do yourself a favor and grab the Summer Fridays Shadedrops ASAP.

9) Lip Balm

And finally, let’s not forget the lips! While the steps above stay consistent, this is where I like to mix things up a bit. The key is to keep your lips just as hydrated as the rest of your face. Personally, I rotate between YSL Candy Glaze, Rhode Peptide Lip Tint, and the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Nothing fancy required here—just make sure your pout feels moisturized!

So, what’s the consensus? Do you already layer your skincare accordingly? Or do you find you need to switch up the order of your routine?
