Get Emma Chamberlain’s Home Look for Less

A few weeks ago, Emma Chamberlain revealed her home via Architectural Digest and it seems as if the world collectively fell in love with her space, myself included. The cozy, yet eclectic home was an honest reflection of her own style and personality. With a plethora of natural light and a mixture of both modern and vintage-inspired pieces, who would not fall in love with her home? Now, while we all do not have the luxury of spending a pretty penny on items such as designer home decor (AKA a $32k chandelier above her dining room table), there are plenty of ways to get her look for less so you can accordingly bring some of that Emma Chamberlain vibe to your own space. After all, the holiday season is quickly approaching so now is the perfect time to revamp your home before hosting guests! Here is how to get Emma Chamberlain’s home look for less.

Modern Lighting

As mentioned above, the chandelier pictured in this image (courtesy of Architectural Digest) is a whopping $31,800. Although the price tag is not pretty, you have to admit that the colored acrylic chains and modern bulb lights really set the stage for a dramatic, yet cozy feel in the dining room. To get Emma Chamberlain’s home look for less, simply invest in contemporary art fixtures for that spacey, artsy aesthetic. This Rita Sputnik light fixture is a dream in itself and only costs $244! What a steal.

Eye-Catching Wall Art

A lot of the character from Emma’s home comes from her bold choice of wall art. She mixes some personal pieces (for example, her dad’s artwork) with some funkier counterparts. But most importantly, keeps all of the wall decor in her home fresh and lighthearted and not to be taken so literally. For instance, this colorful circular piece from Umbra immediately caught my eye and I could imagine it hanging up in her closet room or lounge space (plus it’s only $71).

Warm and Inviting Textiles

Emma Chamberlain’s home, particularly her large living room, seems calm, inviting and full of warmth. A large part of this effect has to do with the choice of textiles. Starting with her curved sofa, it is a beautiful chestnut color that is practically begging you to snuggle in. But if you are not in a place to invest in arm and a leg on a huge furniture piece, brining in this same vibe through textiles is incredibly easy. Note the earthy tones in her living room (clay, safe, and ochre) and replicate these colors via warm throw blankets and decorative pillows.

Conversation-Starting Home Decor

One of the other elements of interest omnipresent in Emma Chamberlain’s home are conversation-starting home decor pieces – items like her permanent pong table in the backyard or the corn accent tables beside the pool. All of these carefully curated decor pieces provoke thought and frankly, are just interesting to look at. Investing in a few unique pieces to display on your mantle or coffee table is another inexpensive way to get her look for less.

Pro Tip: Don’t forget the cool coffee table books!
