The Easy Way To Look Stylish this Fall

Oufit Details

I am sure you can all relate to wanting to look fabulous with minimal effort- 365 days of the year. It can be difficult if you are a hard working woman who is on the go most days each week. Sometimes it is easier to just throw on a pair of leggings or jeans and a sweater and run out the door. Let’s be honest though, we are 6 weeks away from the new year- we still have time to stick to the New Year’s resolution to just be overall better.

Here are 4 tips to help you look more put together without utilizing additional effort. Also, if you start buying all these pieces in different colors, fabrics and patterns/ prints- you can totally have an easy uniform to wear all season long.

Bags (shop similar)

  1. Bags or Purses: Opt to wear a bag that is in season that pairs seemlessly with your shoes. Now this is a step that you do not want to overthink! Do not go for an overly matchy-matchy look. Think along the lines of wearing a similar color pallete or if your shoes are multi-colored, picka  color from within the boots and wear a bag that matches that. There is something super pleasant to accesories that are cohesive but not obviously so. Reference my outfit in this post for inspiration.

Top (shop similar)

  1. Tops or Bodysuits: If you have not already, make sure that your wardrobe consists of basics in a color palette that compliments your skin tone and goes with other pieces in your closet. I really like bodysuits because most of the time, tucking in your tops and belting your trousers can take your look from blah- to ooh la la. Basically, it will look like you really tried and put a lot of effort into your outfit. Also, if your wardrobe contains a generous amount of bodysuits, you will be more inclined to wear them more often.

Boots (shop similar)

  1. Boots or shoes! In order to look more put together, try to go with boots, booties, loafers (heeled or flats). They dress up outfits that ordinarily would look bland or unkempt. Think, instead of wearing tennis shoes or sneakers, opt for something that looks a little more high-end. In this instance, I paired my outfit with a lower-heeled knee high boot. These shoes are incredibly comfortable- I could walk, run and dance in them and honestly would forget that I am even wearing heels.

Pants (shop similar)

  1. Bottoms or Pants: if you do not already, try adding styles other than denim to your wardrobe. There are plenty other comfortable pants that look a lot more dressy. If you are looking for both comfort and style- try leather pants. The ones that I am wearing are from Zara many years ago. But, try out styles from other retailers- Spanx has a really good pair of leather pants that are very flattering, comfortable and have plenty reviews. you can get them from Amazon and from Nordstrom.
