Beauty On A Budget: Nail Your Nails for Spring

Hello Lovelies!

For this post, I would like to share a recent budget- friendly purchase I made the other day at ULTA. ULTA Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. is a chain of beauty
superstores in the United States. (ULTA online store).

As the weather gets warmer, I like to get more colorful!
Nails, lips and eyes etc. Bright, bold details look great in the sunshine, right?

I
don’t shop at ULTA very often but that’s because I have a
Sephora and MAC store close by- both of which tend to
feed my beauty urge. ULTA currently has an amazing deal on nail polishes (2 for
$4), so I decided to pick up a few. These polishes have a great consistency- thick and creamy.
You only need two layers of color, but can get away with one. Below are my favorite Spring-time colors:

(L- R) Vintage Violet | Snow White | Taupe on a Rope | Sun-Sation | Oh! | Baby Doll | Mint Condition

To apply these
colors, I use the top coat and base coat shown below. I like the fact
that the Butter base coat dries matte and can be worn alone- it
compliments polishes well, allowing for a smoother application. The top
coat, Seche Vite, dries your polish fast and is so glossy (my favorite
for years)! It is the best top
coat I have ever tried- and I have tried a lot.

Seche Vite Top Coat | Butter London Flawless Basecoat

Whenever I paint my nails myself, I find it to
be a fun and therapeutic activity. It’s also a lot easier to match nail
colors to your outfits when you have a huge stash at home- instead of
wandering to a nail salon multiple times a week.

Comment below, let me know if this is helpful or if you would rather see the colors on my nails in the future.

Oh, and stay tuned, I have a few fun posts planned in the coming days.<3

What are your favorite top and base coats? What colors would you recommend for Spring time?

Thanks for stopping by, have a beautiful day!

xx,
