5 Barbiecore Looks to Wear to the Movie Premiere
Girl Boss
Whenever I am looking to channel my inner girl boss, I always reach for a blazer. But when it comes to Barbiecore, standard black or grey isn’t going to cut it. But this cropped jacket and satin short set is what dreams are made of. I can definitely see Barbie strutting to a meeting in this tailored get-up.
Girly
Obviously almost everything categorized as Barbie-approved is already quite girly. However, this ensemble certainly takes the cake. The fit-and-flare midi dress along with the pearl jewelry is hyper-feminine in nature. But to make things extra cute and dainty, don’t forget to throw in the micro handbag.
Preppy
This hot pink pleated mini skirt is the picture perfect piece to put together a collegiate-leaning Barbiecore outfit. I kept the rest of the look slightly muted by sticking to baby pink hues. When it comes to makeup, don’t forget to load up on the blush! And as a little hack, you can use this as an eyeshadow for a full face of pink.
Sporty
You don’t need to wear a skirt to channel the Barbie vibes. This more casual take on the aesthetic focuses on this three piece denim set complete with a jacket, corset, and a pair of cargo pants. To match the relaxed vibes, you can also swap the heels for a pair of pink-accented sneakers to set the tone.
Glam
Why not go all out for the Barbie premiere? This dress is undoubtedly Barbie-approved. What drew me into this piece were the dramatic sleeves that is sure to turn heads wherever you go. From there, it’s all about accenting the rest of your look with fuchsia accessories and jewelry.
